Most clinics run six to ten separate tools, and the monthly subscriptions are the smallest part of the bill. The real cost is the seams between them: data re-keyed by hand, reports that never reconcile, and the patient history trapped in whichever system happened to capture it.
Count the seams, not just the subscriptions
Add up every tool, then add the time staff spend moving data between them and the decisions made on numbers that do not agree. The integration tax usually dwarfs the software fees.
Disconnected tools cannot help each other
A booking tool that cannot see your patient history cannot prevent a no-show intelligently. A website that cannot see your schedule cannot book anyone. Value comes from the connections, which a stack of point tools cannot make.
